Jojo Villanueva - Music Supervisor, Straight Outta Compton, Vacation
Jojo Villanueva is head of both the film and creative divisions of Format Entertainment and has been with Format since inception.
Well recognized as a creative force within the supervision community, Jojo is highly sought after for bringing excitement, emotion and authenticity to a wide varierty of production. His creative acumen is on display in projects ranging from live entertainment to brand campaigns for Barbie, Monster High and DC Super Hero Girls; to the highest grossing music biopic of all time, STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON. Demonstrating his broad range of talents, Jojo is currently working on SING, a computer-animated film releasing this holiday season from the creators of the multi-billion dollar franchise DESPICABLE ME.
Jojo is a trained musician, having studied jazz piano at the USC Thornton School of Music and currently serves on the board of Governors for the LA Chapter of The Recording Academy, home to the GRAMMYs. Jojo is also a recipient of the Sixth Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Award for Best Music Supervision.

JOHN HOULIHAN is a veteran Music Supervi- sor who has worked in film, television, adver- tising and politics. He has helped shape the music of more than 85 feature films including Mr. Holland’s Opus, the three Austin Pow- ers films, Charlie’s Angels, Training Day, Looper, Let’s Be Cops, John Wick, Super- mensch, Southpaw, The Peanuts Movie
and Deadpool. Current film projects include Ice Age 5 and John Wick 2 and the upcom- ing Jerry Bruckheimer/WBTV television se- ries Training Day which will premiere on CBS this Fall. John is currently serving as President of the Guild Of Music Supervisors. He tweets from:

Amanda Krieg Thomas has music supervised a wide variety of projects, most recently bringing her experience to the stellar team at Neophonic.
Recent work includes critically acclaimed series The Americans (FX), American Crime Story: The People v.s. O.J. Simpson (FX), American Horror Story: Hotel (FX) and Scream Queens (FX), as well as indie features Billy Boy (starring Blake Jenner and Melissa Benoist) and Girl Flu (starring Katee Sackhoff and Jeremy Sisto).
Amanda began her career in the music department at Lionsgate, before moving to Reveille (now Endemol Shine North America), where she music supervised unscripted shows Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings (IFC) and One Born Every Minute (Lifetime). She then joined Format Entertainment in early 2012 as Music Coordinator on projects such as Pitch Perfect 1 and 2 (Gold Circle Films/Universal), Beyond The Lights (Relativity/BET), The Other Woman (Fox) and ABC comedy, Trophy Wife.
Prior music supervision highlights include Grace Stirs Up Success (American Girl/Mattel), performance competition show Fake Off (truTV), documentaries Operation Popcorn, Off The Floor, and Going Attractions, and indie comedies, The Back-Up Bride and June, Adrift.
Mike Turner, Music Supervisor, Pee Wee's Big Holiday
Mike grew up in Seattle and began working in recording studios and playing in bands as a teenager. His unconventional professional trajectory has led him to major cities all over America working in numerous music/creative capacities for record labels, publishers, licensing companies, radio stations, TV networks and ad agencies.
As a music supervisor, Mike found his niche in Los Angeles and lately works on most projects independently. His talents have recently been tapped for commercial spots with Petco, Estee Lauder, Rise Credit, Microsoft, Acer Computers, Converse, Brooks Running and Volvo as well as films for Jamie Travis/Seth Rogen, Ice T., Charlie Sheen, Bret Easton Ellis/Paul Schrader, Nick Cassavetes, Russell Brand/Ondi Timoner and Judd Apatow/John Lee.
In the world of television, Mike music supervised season 1 of "Bad Sex" for Logo/MTV and served a stretch as music coordinator on Necessary Roughness season 2 (USA). Currently Mike oversees production of music for The World Poker Tour (Fox Sports), as well as for Raycom Media, America's largest independent TV broadcaster.
